Job Brief:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Experienced Medical Scribe. As a crucial member of our medical staff, the Medical Scribe not only provides essential support in handling paperwork but also operates our Electronic Health Records (EHR) system. Ensuring efficient patient care remains a top priority, and time management is key in this role.
The Medical Scribe's responsibilities encompass close collaboration with physicians, performing tasks such as ordering lab reports, scheduling doctor's appointments, proficiently navigating electronic health records, and proactively anticipating the needs of healthcare providers. Your primary duty is to accurately record doctors' conversations with patients and assist them in completing post-visit paperwork, including detailed summaries of consultations and treatment sessions.
Responsibilities:
Detailed Documentation: Attend patient visits and meticulously document pertinent information in the electronic health records system, encompassing medical histories, treatment plans, and physician-patient interactions.
Team-Centric Approach: Actively participate in patient supervision and documentation, promoting a collaborative team environment that enhances the quality of patient care.
Record Management: Work closely with supervising Physicians or Doctors to ensure the timely completion and submission of medical records.
Requirements and Skills:
Demonstrated track record of successful work experience as a Medical Scribe or in a similar role, highlighting your competence and reliability.
Ability to expertly document patient care and transcribe patient appointments with precision, focusing on the accuracy and completeness of all records.
Possess advanced computer skills to proficiently transcribe and record information across our network of electronic health records.
Dedication to preserving the privacy and confidentiality of all patient information encountered during your duties.
Strong organizational and time management skills, enabling you to effectively manage multiple tasks in a dynamic clinical environment.
Ability to excel in high-pressure situations without compromising the accuracy and quality of documentation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, facilitating effective interaction with healthcare professionals.
Educational Background: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
